| 20 December | A slightly early Christmas present today
learning that Tucker (Burncote Bushman JW) has gone TOP PUPPY in breed and
Ko TOP SIRE in breed for 2009 in the UK. To top it off a Tucker x Fizz
litter is hopefully on the way! Please see

| 26 September | New champion! At Nimbin today Peter and Makani
earned the points required for his title to make him Ch Starridge Kozar
Legacy AI ET. To top it up Peter's new baby took out Baby in Group - well
done Huntingridge Spirit Of Katana!

| 19 September | Went to the RRCQ Open Show - and I was so
grateful to have my friends around me and to have something else to think
about for awhile. Judge Sarah Wheatley gave Kea Opp Sex Junior to the handsome Ruger, Makani Opp Sex Inter to Clancy, Mtarni Best Ridged and Arbee Best
Footed. Mtarni and Arbee together scored in Brace. Many thanks to Anthony
Pitt for the great photos (Arbee, Makani, Kea, Mtarni & Arbee in Brace, and
Summer and daughter Amber in Veterans).

| 18 September | Mum died this afternoon very suddenly and unexpectedly. She had been in hospital for some time and truthfully she was tired of the fight so I know that this is the best thing for her although it doesn't make it any easier. Om shanti, Mum! I know that Dad, Kel and all the dogs will be so happy to see you again. |

| 13 September | Huge congrats to new NZ Champion Nambala Velocity. 'Meg' is Gr Ch Bearstar Ko CD FC ROM over NZ Ch Nambala Amaunet and makes Ko's 2nd NZ Champion and his 29th Champion overall. Hopefully Carol will send me a nice new pic for Ko's champion progeny page :-) |

display! Thanks Marita for these great shots of Mak (Am/Int Ch Starridge
Makeda) herding in Washington State. What a pity it wasn't a sanctioned event as
the trainer (pictured below) said "He passed all the tests".

Must say I am very proud that of the 11 contested classes 8 were won by Ko descendants and there were no Ko descendants in the other 3 classes! Special mention to my handsome Makani (Ko son) who won the Intermediate Dog class (the largest dog class of the day) - certainly a lovely day for the 'family'. | 2 August | I have actually managed to spend some time this morning doing a little updating to the site (I can almost hear the 'about time' ring out!). I've extended the Starridge story to bring it up to current time; updated My Dogs, all the Hot News pages, the Planned Litter page and added photos to Ko's progeny page and current photo to Mak's page. And a myriad of bits of pieces and corrections! |

More fantastic news from England with Tucker (Burncote
Bushman) going 4th Best Puppy in Show at the Hound Assoc. Champ Show. A very
prestigious show so Tucker taking 4th Best Puppy in Show out of almost 30
puppies is certainly a fantastic win. Huge congrats to David, Julie and Ann.

with their girl Becky Top Ridgeback in the UK at the moment and the handsome
Tucker (Burncote Bushman - Gr Ch Bearstar Ko CD FC ROM x Burncote
Annishirani) Top Puppy in Breed and Top Hound Puppy making Mr Ko Top Sire in
the breed in the UK (this is at the halfway point in the competition) - I'm just so proud and thrilled!

| 14 June | What a wonderful year for Lotta (INT, BALT, EST,
FIN, RUS, LTU, LV, BLR, PL, SLO, ES & UA CH, EST, LTU, LV & BALT JCH, ESTW-05,
LVW-05, LTUJW-04 HARJASELÄN KARPALO) takes out her Swedish title (are there
any left!) Back in April Lotta also took out her Portuguese Champion title
and went RUBISS at Portuguese Specialty. At 6 she is still wowing them and
now her progeny are taking on the show scene too - congratulations Sanna (breeder)
and Anu (owner)!

| 10/11 January | Kea
went to her first shows this weekend in Toowoomba. At the two Champ shows
and one Open show Kea was once Baby Puppy of Breed and twice Baby Bitch of
Breed. She had a ton of fun and gathered a great many fans :-)
